So often as creatives we choose productivity over play and I’m really trying to be more mindful about injecting curiosity and enjoyment back into my typical work week. I created some bold and colourful brand vibes for a conceptual app called Whirk – the best CRM, project management and business app around for creatives, like me.
I sunk my teeth into the core of what this app / business would look like if it were real (name development, ideal customers, values, brand personality, brand voice etc) and design choices (eg. type, colour, layout) were made with this strategy in mind, alongside a carefully refined list of brand keywords (my personal creative process is quite visual but also very keyword driven.)
The use of a friendly little whale as my brand mascot represents so many of the same characteristics and traits that whales in the wild have in common with the brand (or so I’m told by clever folk online!)
